Tryouts
Tryout / Player Evaluations Time Periods:
Last scheduled tryout will be Wednesday, July 24th at 6pm. Email Lindsey at lowen@dallassportsplex.com or Jessica at jthomas@dallassportsplex.com to reserve a spot. You may also arrange a personal evaluation with them if you can't make the tryout.
We are still looking for a few players in most age groups!
DIG VBC will use the tryouts/ evaluations listed below to help develop rosters for DIG Diamond & DIG Club. It is not an absolute requirement that a player attend one of these tryouts to be given an offer. DIG VBC will also utilize its summer camps, skills sessions, private evaluations and its general knowledge of a player's ability to assess a player's fit within a program.
For athletes who participated in DIG Academy or DIG Club in the 2018/ 2019 season, DIG VBC may make a verbal or written non-binding offer to play on one of its teams in the 2019/2020 Club Season at any time. For all other athletes, DIG VBC may not make an offer to play on a team until July 7th. At that time, a non-binding verbal offer may be given.
Ages 15-18: July 7-20, 2019 - No player in the 15 - 18 age group may receive a written offer to play with any club prior to July 20th. A volleyball club may make a non-binding verbal offer to play for its club to any player after July 7th. Players will receive an email the morning of July 21st with the official written offer. At that time, they will have 48 hours to accept the offer. If the offer is not accepted within 48 hours of receiving it, the volleyball club may rescind the offer.
Ages 10-14: July 7-27, 2019 - No player in the 10 - 14 age group may receive a written offer to play with any club prior to July 27th. A volleyball club may make a non-binding verbal offer to play for its club to any player after July 7th. Players will receive an email the morning of July 28th with the official written offer. At that time, they will have 48 hours to accept the offer. If the offer is not accepted within 48 hours of receiving it, the volleyball club may rescind the offer.
DIG Diamond and DIG Club Tryout Date
Tryouts are open to the public. Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in and warm up. There is no fee for tryouts.

*During these evaluations verbal/non-binding offers will be made on teams based on the parameters described above.
We will let players know where they stand within the club and on which team they would likely be placed.
Acceptance/Signing Day for 15s-18s
Saturday, July 20
Official offers and acceptances will be emailed out the morning of July 20 for 15s-18s.
Acceptance/Signing Day for 10s-14s
Saturday, July 27
Official offers and acceptances will be emailed out the morning of July 27 for 10s-14s.
We will continue to have evaluations for any remaining spots on available teams.
We will also have a series of tryouts for DIG Academy in September and October.
