As an important reminder, please consider the following questions regarding your player before allowing them to attend a DIG/Sportsplex event:
1. Does the athlete have any of the following symptoms?

Recent Loss of Taste or Smell

Sore Throat

Congestion

Nausea or Vomiting

Within the past 10 days, has the athlete been in contact with anyone that you know that has tested positive for Covid-19? (Contact being 6ft or closer for more than 15 minutes with a person or direct contact with fluids from a person with Covid 19).
Is your player or anyone in the household waiting to receive Covid-19 test results?
Within the past 10 days, has a public health or medical professional told the athlete or household to self-monitor, self-isolate, or self-quarantine because of concerns about Covid-19 infection?
If you can answer "Yes" to any of the above questions, your athlete SHOULD NOT ATTEND any DIG/Sportsplex event.

With the guidance of state and local authorities and the recent USAV guidelines, we have implemented many new changes at Sportsplex including:

Any person exhibiting signs of the virus will not enter the facility.
-
Only one parent/guardian is allowed to accompany each player (no siblings/friends).
-
Hands must be sanitized before entering the facility.
-
The number of volleyball courts will be reduced from 5 to 4 so that there is at least 40 feet between courts.
-
The allowable playing space on the basketball courts will be reduced.
-
Only two batting cages will be used and our soccer field will be limited to 12 players.
-
Basketball courts will be limited to no more than 20 players and Volleyball courts will be limited to 12-15 players.
-
Masks should be worn by all persons entering the facility and only basketball players should be remove their masks once practice begins; volleyball participants must wear masks at all times.
-
The workout gym will be closed until further notice.
-
Bleachers/player benches have been removed (parent/guardian may bring in a folding chair and remain 6 ft apart from other bystanders). There will be marks on the court noting where a parent or player should sit or stand.

Players are to remain 6 ft apart at all times with the exception of game-like drills.
-
Coaches are the only persons to handle ball carts (no more than 12 balls in a cart).
-
Balls will be sanitized after each practice or use.
-
Coaches will be equipped with hand sanitizer spray bottles and will spray athletes hands/arms at the beginning and end of practice and before taking water breaks (coaches may sanitize more often if desired or requested).

Coaches will be reminding players to not touch their mouths or faces.
-
For volleyball, No additional equipment will be used during practices (serving machine, setting nets, boxes, etc.) No outside equipment may be brought in! For basketball, players should bring their own ball and coaches should refrain from using coaching aids.

Players are to arrive no earlier than 5 mins prior to their practice and must exit the facility within 5 minutes of its conclusion.

Avoid using the restrooms if at all possible. If there is an absolute need, the restroom will be open for use and every other stall will be closed off along with every other sink to provide the appropriate space in between users (hands must be washed and sanitized after using the restroom).

Water fountains will be closed off. Water bottles should be brought from home or can be purchased at the front desk. The sharing of water bottles will not be allowed.

Any items left at the facility will be discarded (DON'T FORGET YOUR THINGS!)

No outside food (snacks, gum/etc.) will be allowed and no food will be available for sale. Only water and Gatorade will be available for purchase (any special health cases such as low blood sugar will need to be approved by management or coaching staff prior to arrival).

Sportsplex employees will be continuously sanitizing throughout the facility.

Sanitation reminder signs will be posted throughout the facility

Entrance to the facility will only be on the north side (Alpha Rd.) and the south side (mall) will be the only door to exit the facility.
We will continue to evaluate our procedures to make sure we are as effective as possible to maintain safe playing conditions.
We take the wellness of each player very seriously and hope to provide you with the assurance that we are doing everything possible to ensure their safety.

The Sportsplex has soccer training and camps throughout the year. Also, a 100' x 70' field perfect for team practices and small sided games
